Coronavirus family briefing number 11: 19.00 Wednesday 1st April 2020
Well here we are on April 1st, in such uncertain times it will be interesting to see where we are as a country by the end
of the month. As we inch our way towards the end of term, we are still unsure what the situation will be in terms of school
reconvening after the holidays, however we will continue to send out briefing notes to keep you all up to date with our
thinking on this. This will continue to be informed by Government advice and best practice.
In terms of today’s news, we will be sending out Nikki’s emotional well-being advice as a separate document, as we are
aware that it did not travel well as an embedded link in yesterday’s briefing note. Apologies for that and we hope you find
it helpful when you get to read the advice and suggestions. Nikki will send out further updates during the holidays and is
happy to hear from anyone who has any questions related to the content. You can contact Nikki on email@example.com
As we mentioned in yesterday’s briefing note, school will continue until Friday this week. This will include online lessons
taking place as usual on Friday morning and a keyworking session timetabled for after lunch. As part of this agenda your
keyworker will be asking you for best ways to maintain contact over the holiday period so that we can keep our student
case files and risk assessments up to date.
In addition to this we are currently looking into what we might be able to do to support students and families during the
holiday, through online engagement and will hopefully be in a position to share this with you in tomorrow’s briefing note.
As usual, if any families have any news or ideas they would like us to share, please let us know and we will include these
in subsequent briefing notes.
Wishing you all a very pleasant Wednesday evening, and we hope you are all staying safe and healthy.
Kiran, Rob and Rob
